Intense.

Yeah, that'd be the word that describes this past weekend. Things are just pretty intense in general right now.

I'm kind of glad to be back at work today with some time to just sit back and take care of routine things. I came home yesterday to find a pooptastic explosion (yes, enchanting!) that was somehow contained within a very small and easily-clean-uppable area. I think the kitties are getting better with these - practice makes perfect, I guess. Bleh.

To spare the beautiful thick-pile wool rug that my grandmother wove from the vagaries of kitties, I purchased yesterday a cream-colored short-nap carpet that looks pretty good in my living room! Bland, but it's very successful at reducing echo and is also quite a good place to accidentally pass out when 5:15 is too early to wake up (I was about 30 minutes late to the gym, and had a big red blotch on my forehead, which had been resting on the carpet). I was pretty entertained to read the label on the carpet - "Made in the USA of 100% miscellaneous fibers." WTF?!

But, yay for:

- You.
- RH & Shadowrunner & Tinka! <3
- DDR
- Blueberry pancakes
- The Dark Knight (two varieties thereof)
- Good literature all around
- Sleep!
- Sunday wandering, dillydallying, ambling and moseying

And, why is that I haven't finished Portal yet?! I'm going to lose my touch! And I think I'm going through piano and dance withdrawal!

or perhaps I just need more practice so that I can kick some ass and won't have the inclination to express any consternation! :P

consternation sounds like constipation... probably has a similar expression too
