Artesian Waves

It's my day off. I took a massive nap during which I experienced vivid dreams. Here are two of four or more.

Dream:

The earth accreted another moon into orbit, which wreaked havoc across the globe. There were huge waves that would form in the summer months in the south of France. They were called artesian waves, and they were massive inclined cliffs of water so huge that they dwarfed everything. Gigantic troughs would form between them. They wouldn't move a whole lot; generally, they would sort of rise up in certain places and stay there, teetering, gargantuan ridges of water rising to and fro in the bays. People would use them as ski slopes, taking boats, giant innertubes and other things to them and sliding to the bottom of the troughs. One could swim up what looked like an inclined hill of water and then off of it into thin air, plunging into the trough. I was watching a Youtube video of Bill Murray and a friend go horsing around on them; only very brave people did it, since it was so dangerous. Sometimes they did crash down, obliterating people and boats. They generally formed perpendicular to the coastline. They were spectacular to look at.

I have to admit that upon waking up, I Googled "artesian waves." Totally disappointing, I was so hopeful!

Dream:

I picked up a computer virus when I visited a strange pseudo-Christian website decorated with kawaii images of biblical figures. First, it tried to pop up endless instances of itself in browser windows, but I put a stop to that. Every time I tried to open my antivirus software, the mouse would veer away from the icon! Both P and S were there, trying to help me figure out how to click; we eventually cleaned my harddrive by moving the mouse at high speeds over the icon and clicking randomly until we managed to hit it.

The image of the Artesian waves is beautiful. You should sell the idea to a sci-fi writer. :)
