YAY!

I just OWNED my master class.  After last Thursday's mediocre, weary lesson, my experience today was a breath of much-needed inspiration.  My renditions of Chopin's nocturne #51 and Debussy's Clair de Lune were flawed note-wise, but not at all finesse-wise.  My competitive side asserts that no other member of my studio performed nearly as well as I did.  Heh heh heh.

Now back to my new project - a blocked sunglasses case!  Caspian will be home soon, and later, we're going out to eat with one of his groomsmen, who attends law school in New York City.

Here are images from two of last week's completed projects:

Brocade sewing machine cover, a Mothers' Day present for my mom.

A closer look at this beautiful brocade.

Red and black embroidered envelope-back 18" pillows.

The complete non-failure of the envelope back.
