It's FLOODING!

A nice weekend, including friends and food and football (but weirdly not all of those together), a dance lesson, plenty of sleep, and some good-old-fashioned chillaxin. I put up new curtains last night in my living room, and my cat promptly tested whether or not they'd fall down under his weight. I'm not sure how climbing curtains and then riding them down to hardwood floors could be fun, but when you've got about 6 lbs. of fuzz all over your body and 3.5 brain cells, it's obviously a riot.

Made it to the gym this morning at 6 AM on the dot, and of course Determined (I'll call her that, since she's such a committed person), my usual early-morning workout buddy, beat me there. I also bought fantastic coffee last week and really enjoyed it this morning bef --- HAHAHAH! One of the Financial supervisors just ran into my office yelling, "It's FLOODING, it's FLOODING! It's halfway across the floor!" He used the same tone of voice that he'd probably use to let me know that somebody was having a heart attack. Apparently, the urinal in the men's bathroom on the 4th floor is protesting its lot in life, and has inundated the entire bathroom. Oh, work. Something interesting happens when I least expect it.

I don't think I should be blogging during my morning break... But I just have to say that this is a GREAT scene that's unfolding outside my office door...

It was fun (I really like Rockford, when it's not full of chain smokers), and yes we definitely should!
