1) Shaved my cat's little bum, so that he could do... Yeah, so that he could doo. You know, fuzzy cats have "clearance" issues. He was Not Happy.
2) Slept till 11 AM.
3) Went to bed at 2:30 AM.
4) Hiked at Umstead Park.
5) Ate lemon meringue pie.
6) Learned all about samurai sword-making and methods of extreme refridgeration.
7) Saw Pepper and Natty.
8) Cleaned up after a very sick little kitty cat.
9) Stood in a cemetery and was reminiscent.
10) Drank enough coffee to give a moose ADHD for a week.
All-in-all a relaxing weekend, but a little bit more action-packed than I'd anticipated. Jessy is sick. I don't know what's wrong with him. I heard one of the two cats hacking in the middle of the night on Saturday night, but didn't get up to investigate. In the morning we thought Fri was the sick cat, until Jesper tried again, unsuccessfully, to bring up the hairball he's been harboring... No luck.
He got sick repeatedly all of yesterday (and I had to use up like half a bottle of Resolve, following him from room to room, cleaning up), but was quite his rambunctious, rampaging self between epidsodes. He is interested in eating, but he just chews up the food and spits it out again in piles around the food bowl. He slept against me last night, clinging to me like he was drowning, and only left once (or rather, I pushed him off the bed) to try to make himself sick. He was sunny and energetic this morning, but I'm worried. He's drinking water as normal, and he spends as much time as normal chewing his food, but he doesn't swallow much of it. I'm keeping an eye on him, since Fri almost died from a bowel obstruction when he was a kitten.
I have a private lesson tonight - cha cha/rumba, hopefully. Ergh, but I can't look forward to it properly, being so worried about my little orange stripey-butted cat-child. JESPY!!!
