Concerning Dire Computer Woes and Racy Bible Verses

Still no files or access to anything at work; my user ID continues to be corrupted. Last Friday, this was just irritating. Now, it's getting dire, with emphasis on the "ire." The "d" is there to concentrate all of the dammits, durn its, and dohs (and their associated emotions) I've uttered in the past 4 hours. So that "dire" you see written there is pretty intense, you might need those solar eclipse viewing glasses to read it without frying your retinas. Oops, did I notify you too late? Feeling the burn?

This Tuesday feels like a Monday that should have been born a Saturday. Does that make sense to you? So basically, it's the beginning of the week but not the VERY beginning, and yet I'm energetic, happy, and well-rested enough that I could be fooled into believing it to be Saturday, if I weren't sitting at my desk at work, staring at the bleak expanse that is my corrupted desktop, wishing I could get something important done.

The fact that I have any desire to get something important done indicates that it's a weekday.

So, last night at my parents' house between a shopping expedition and dance practice, I saw an old book on a table. I asked my mother what it was, and she answered, "the Bible." She's currently furious with the ancient scribe Timothy for his take on women and their inherent morally unsound ways, but that's another long story that you don't want to hear about. I decided that I needed a Bible verse for direction, so I flipped it around, backwards and forwards and sideways and slantwise and cross-intro-vector-planed it, and had no idea which side was Old or New Testament. I triumphantly opened it, positioned my finger, and poked to identify the words that would help guide my Tuesday. My result, from the enigmatic and rather risque Song of Songs (HAH!):

"When I should find you out of doors, I would kiss you, and none would despise me."

I guess that gives me permission to kiss anybody I wanted, as long as they're outside, without being shunned by society. Or MAYBE somebody is waiting for me to GO outside so that they can kiss me without being shunned!
