Tales of a supernova's daughter.

I am a rabbit.

I am a rabbit.

Bright eyes, nose quivering
Peeking from her abode among the grasses and dewdrops and tiny living things
All is small, and right, and all-absorbing
Big is too big.

One watches these minute matters
No thinking
Just sensing
When one has short legs.

If my legs were shorter
Would I see the electrons whirling around the nuclei,
Listen along the links among the atoms
Smell the magnetic fields, run my fingers through their streamers
Taste the dark between the quarks?

What would my eyes focus upon?
How far is far - the galaxy next door, or
The covalent bond, my hand is holding yours

What matters more? Big or small?
How short are your legs?
