[Insert Clever Title Here]

I posted what? Four times on Wednesday? Hence yesterday's silence, and I was all talked-out (that's an impossibility and a LIE) after sushi with Batman. What a sentence.

Things are getting exciting here at Chaos Central. Very exciting. But I won't reveal to you the reason for the excitement until it arrives. There are a few wrinkles in my scheme that have to be ironed out, but I have a lawyer, a communication scholar (and ex insurance adjuster), and an opera singer at my disposal if things get ugly. Oh yes, I know some very interesting people.

Speaking of interesting people, I will be gaining a brother! I've always wanted a brother, and Pepper will make a good one. I can't think of anybody else I'd like to add to my family more. And Pepper! His proposal was so special and simple and Pepper-ish that I was deeply touched when got the details; he took all of the modern-day norms of extravagant, cookie-cutter, wine-and-dine marriage proposals and transcended them into utter irrelevance. Every ordinary day will be special for he and my sister because of it. And the ring (a cornflower sapphire with a history) is beautiful, more beautiful than any I could possibly imagine, and he designed it himself.

Tonight, RH (I may change her pseudonym!) has a choral performance that I'm looking forward to seeing, with dessert afterwards. Mayhem descends tomorrow and also perhaps either a ballroom social dance or a swing dance lesson, and then hopefully some relaxing on Sunday. And maybe some Mario Kart Wii!
