Dream:
I have this totally pimped-out sky-blue (sparkly!) Chrysler New Yorker. It's an 8-speed manual with a hard drive and all of these neat features. I have to take Natty somewhere, so I help her get packed up, and we head out to the science museum.
I'm in a really really obnoxious mood and I switch from speeding uncontrollably to coming to a dead stop in the middle of the highway, and then racing people that approach from behind. Natty is getting really irritated and yells at me several times. We get to the museum, and go to the back of a long but fast-moving line to wait for entry. We finally get to the ticket counter, when the curator (a terrifying woman with very sharp teeth resembling VonPinn from Girl Genius) decides that she needs to introduce all of the docents in the museum to Natty and I. They line up in front of us (behind the ticket counter) and do a tap dance.
Meanwhile, I'm getting kind of bored with their routine, and I look behind them. To my intense fascination, there's a young man flying a huge open magazine around the room - on the open page, there's a picture of an adorable baby, whom I can tell is really enjoying zooming around, looking at the tap-dancing docents and strange exhibits. Strangely, there's a baby in the corner that I know is somehow connected to the moving picture of the baby in the magazine. This sight brings me to tears for some reason. Suddenly, the tap dancers are somewhere completely different in the room (now lecturing as they dance), and the people behind us in line are oddly silent... And suddenly, instead of standing at the ticket window, Natty and I are standing at the top of a flight of stairs, looking into a window at the museum lobby below. I decide to climb through, and I fall about 30 feet, landing catlike on the carpet below, just in time to see Von Pinn rushing towards me at full-steam (like literally, she's exuding clouds of steam) with murder in her eyes...
