It's Getting Better All the Time

It's been an interesting two weeks. Excitement, thrills, drama and relief. All I have to say about that is, thank God for this piano. Thank God for friendship, and thank God for so much else!

Everything is changing for the better now. I can't help it if I'm an insufferable optimist. ;) I just so enjoy being alive; sadness and happiness, the extraordinary and the prosaic, pain and pleasure, dark and light, frustration and realization. These are my teachers.

I haven't done any dancing since last Saturday, but I intend to remedy that soon! I still need to hear about my parents' anniversary - on which they went to see Sri Sri Ravi Shankar speak. I need to call my grandparents. I need to learn the correct fingerings for Debussy's Deux Arabesques. I need to buy somebody a birthday present. ;)

Woah! Look at those fancy links there.

Naturally, I protest your last sentence, but begrudgingly accept its inevitability. ;)
