See you in a week!

Theme Song:  Steven singing the chorus of Carmen

We leave this afternoon for northern Indiana, as soon as Steven finishes with Carmen rehearsal.  You have no idea how excited I am.  Yay for the flurry of cleaning and packing, and long-ass roadtrips!  We won't make it in until around 2 or 3 AM tonight!  Huzzah!

I don't know how I'll react when I discover the state of my apartment upon returning...  A week of unchaperoned cat romping could turn it into a cave of fuzz (the mental picture is disturbing but pretty funny).  UGH.  So how much fuzz can two cats (one short-haired, one long) produce in a day?  You'd be shocked.  Mine are fuzz factories.  I think the reason they eat so much is because they need to keep fuzz production up, especially now that the weather is turning cooler.  I hope my parents realize this - I'll put the broom in a nice conspicuous place!

Grar.  My apartment complex is building a nice gazebo in the courtyard...  Right outside my bedroom window.  We were rudely awakened this morning at 7 AM (wtf?!) by the sound of hammers and buzz saws.   I was Not Amused, and now I'm desperately tired and have no time to nap before our departure.  Hrmmf.

Bon voyage!

ha, I first misread that as "a furry of cleaning and packing" and I just imagined all the kitty fur flying around your apartment in the frenzy. And then you talked about the impending fur-storm.
Oh me oh my.
Enjoy!!!
