Sangria and Falling Leaves

Theme Song: Modeselektor - Vote or Die

Misty autumn mornings. Mmmm.

Combine the following:
  • zombie movies
  • a really hot black dress
  • opera singers
With:
  • too much candy
  • too much sangria
  • lack of sleep
  • too much sleep
And add a liberal amount of insanity...

And you've got yourself a most excellent Halloween weekend. Even if I did admittedly have too much sangria and was worthless. Now I just have to get Steven through his friend's election night party...

I was reading The Scar yesterday evening at Steven's and was utterly enthralled. I reached focus saturation, tossed the book down and randomly jumped up. S jumped up too and I grabbed his arms and told him how curious I was about a weapon in the book that appears to inflict multidimensional (as in, it inflicts damage upon a person as they exist in the physical realm, as well as any other realms in which they may reside in whatever form?) injuries (DON'T SPOIL IT)... And he got really excited and suddenly I was just manic for no reason at all, about nothing, about everything, I was just so full of love and connection and fascination. It was absolutely bizarre, bizarre enough that I remember it vividly and see fit to mention it here in order to continue to remember it.

It's been a long time since I've felt like that.
