Steven had a dream last night:
He walked me to high school and held my hand along the way. However, when he dropped me off at the school, another guy (we'll call him Dude) took my hand as I walked inside. Steven growled. Later, after school, Steven the vampire waited in the woods and planned to ambush Dude while he was chatting with his friends and trying to jump over a chain link fence. Steven planned to chase him, but he cleared the fence and headed into another part of the woods. A little later, Dude came back from his walk in the woods, where he had hooked up with a female vampire... And both he and this female vampire were pregnant! Not only was Dude pregnant, but there was a baby-shaped protuberance on his rotund belly. He was a very proud father/mother, but Steven the vampire knew that Dude's mom was pretty upset about the entire situation, and Steven the vampire rejoiced.
Then, Steven dreamed that I had discovered what he called a "daughter-thing." He used this term because not only was she not really my daughter, but she was also not quite human; she had two arms sprouting from her chin like mandibles. Steven said she was nice, but rather awkward-looking. I adopted this little creature.
Then his dream shifted. A strange man with a very strong Russo-Italian accent picked him out of a crowd and said, "You, you der - you look like you'd be able to draw." Steven was dubious and denied having any artistic ability, but the man didn't listen. He commanded imperiously, "Here, draw me a dragon." S figured what the hell and began to draw a dragon. But the man was not pleased and complained, "No, no, not like dat, like dis. Yes. Now, draw it like dis and dis and yes! No! Now draw me a rock! No, a robot!" Steven tried to comply with both requests with an attempt to draw the man a rock robot. The man was very pleased and said, beaming, "YES! Exactly what I wanted!"
His dream shifted again, and he was with my daughter-thing (holding her? sitting on her bed?). We'll call her Alice. Alice asked him to tell her a story. He told her about a lonely young rock robot with no friends, who spent his days at school being taunted for having severely ironed clothes. His mother had no time for him because she was too busy ironing his clothes.
Then I jumped on the bed and woke him up. :D

Interestingly, you and Steven were in my dream! After Phil and I went to the Gondoliers, we all went to the grocery store to buy mushrooms.
AAHAHA! you made me laugh! and mushrooms are so good... the meat of the vegetable world... of course we went to buy some!
