I can has vacation?

Busy morning. Since 10a, I have:

- Scrubbed toilets
- Scrubbed all surfaces and sinks
- Swept and mopped all linoleum and tile
- Vacuumed every inch of carpet
- Scrubbed hi-traffic areas with Resolve
- Dusted each piece of furniture/equipment
- Reorganized music room closet
- Taken out recycling
- Washed and dried every piece of dirty laundry
- Reorganized kitchen cabinets
- Swept and washed porch floor
- Defuzzed all upholstery covers
- Cleaned out my car, including trunk

I even scrubbed every discolored spot on our almost-white carpet - most of them were pollen juice stains from walking in and out of the porch. I pushed all furniture into the middle of the room and vacuumed the carpet under each piece.  Should I tackle the fridge?

Sigh.  Caspian is at rehearsal today from 10a to 5p.  I had planned on starting a sewing project, but I need a chalk pencil, and I also need to go for a run, since I haven't formally exercised (as in, at the gym, with a purpose) in about a week.  I think I've gotten plenty of informal exercise.

If my standards of cleanliness weren't so high, and if I could function in a less-organized environment, I wouldn't spend so much of my time cleaning and organizing, and Caspian would probably be sharing more in the domestic work.

Realized this morning that I've taken 2 vacations in the past three years.  Vacation, meaning a week or more of non-work time in one block.  The first one was in fall of 2008, when Caspian and I drove to Michigan/Indiana/Chicago for a week - not much relaxing on that one.  The second one was last December's Christmas, wedding and "honeymoon."  Guess how much relaxation we indulged in on that vacation.  We stayed in town for the "honeymoon" because, after paying for the wedding, we couldn't afford to go anywhere, and we didn't have enough vacation time to do so anyway.

I can has vacation?
